Olympic Stadium rooms
An overview of our facilities…
The Stadium boasts several assets that meet the needs of the trade show and exhibition industry, including the proximity of main roadways, access via two metro stations, 4,000 indoor parking spots, a clear space over 100 metres high without columns in the main area, a 100,000-square-foot waiting area for trailer trucks, an exceptional loading and unloading capacity within the main floor area and the necessary storage space.
Rooms and other areass
Large-scale sporting, commercial and cultural events can be held on the over 204,000-square-foot Main floor area, which is available from April 1 to November 30. The permanent and temporary stands can hold more than 67,000 people. There are also several other rooms and large areas in the Stadium which are available throughout the year. These spaces can accommodate small groups or crowds of up to 10,000 people. Our facilities can be used for many different purposes and come with numerous amenities!

Types of events
In addition to hosting large-scale events such as sporting shows, trade fairs, exhibitions or rock concerts, the Olympic Stadium is also used by many organizations for receptions, educational or training initiatives, conferences, religious gatherings, union meetings, etc.
Facts & figures
The Stadium’s facilities meet promoters’ technical requirements. Spacious and multi-purpose, our facilities enable us to offer our clients highly customized services, as follows.
Surface of the Main Room
Concrete with utility shafts every 9 metres (30 feet) for electricity, water, drainage, and communications. This space is multipurpose and column-free.
Capacity of the stands
56,034 seats with the potential to add temporary stands. Depending on the configuration chosen, chairs can also be set up on the playing field.
Electricity
120 / 208 V – 3 phases (available everywhere)
Public address system
A 101,600-watt public address system directed at the stands
TV broadcasting
A full connection for mobile TV units.
Ambient temperature
Controlled in winter and summer.
Ticketing
41 ticket booths – 17 in two islands in the Rotunda and 24 in 8 islands on level 200. Ticket reservation system for all of North America. The Olympic Park ticketing office is a client of the Admission Network, which is part of Ticket Master.

Promoters’ offices
A well-delineated area near the Stadium entrance, comprising a service counter, three open-area offices, two closed offices and a storage area. There is also a refrigerator and microwave oven. Promoters have the use of six telephones, a photocopier, fax machine and Internet access.
A second office (13′ x 13′) is located on level 100, at column 10-A, in the East Hall. It is equipped with a desk and chairs.
Waiting area and unloading docks
Two permanent docks and six mobile access ramps. Six 45-foot trailer trucks can be accommodated in this area at the same time. Trucks can drive right onto the Main floor area.
With our private 100,000-square-foot waiting area, trucks do not block the streets or major roadways when loading or unloading. Hoists and lift trucks are also available on site.
There are two delivery doors that open onto the Main Room:

* Concentrated loads such as lift truck wheels, hoists and scaffolding bases must not exceed 450 kg and must be spaced at least 1.2 m apart.
Parking
There are approximately 4,000 indoor parking spaces and almost 300 outdoor spaces. There are 100 bus parking spaces (available only at the Viau parking lot). The parking lots can be accessed from rue Viau, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin, rue Sherbrooke and boulevard Pie-IX.
Metro stations
There are two metro stations (Pie-IX and Viau) located on the Olympic Park site, with the capacity to serve 45,000 people per hour. The Stadium can be accessed from indoors from the Pie-IX metro station.
Airports
L’aéroport Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau (Dorval) airport is about 30 minutes from the Olympic Park, and the St-Hubert airport, about 20 minutes.

A neighbourhood with lots to offer
The Olympic Stadium is located in the heart of a thriving tourist area in the east end of Montréal. The Viau, Sherbrooke, Pierre-De Coubertin and Pie-IX vicinity offers such attractions as the Botanical Garden, the Insectarium and the Biodôme. Just ten minutes away, you will find a wide selection of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and prices. The area also boasts many stores and abundant hotel accommodation. Downtown Montréal is just 10 minutes from the Olympic Park.
