The Olympic Park, and especially the Stadium, boasts several assets that meet the needs of the trade show and exhibition industry, including the proximity of main roadways, access via two metro stations, 4,000 indoor parking spots, a clear space over 100 metres high without columns in the main area, a 100,000-square-foot waiting area for trailer trucks, an exceptional loading and unloading capacity within the main floor area and the necessary storage space.
Large-scale sporting, commercial and cultural events can be held on the over 204,000-square-foot Main floor area, which is available from April 1 to November 30. The permanent and temporary stands can hold more than 67,000 people. There are also several other rooms and large areas in the Stadium which are available throughout the year. These spaces can accommodate small groups or crowds of up to 10,000 people. Our facilities can be used for many different purposes and come with numerous amenities!
The Salon Montreal, located at the top of the Montreal Tower, is an ideal place for a banquet, business or wedding reception, training sessions, a meeting, press conference or product launch. It offers unsurpassed magnificence!
In addition to major sports events, exhibitions, shows or rock concerts, the Olympic Park is also home to many organizations who come for receptions, workshops or training (in the auditorium at the foot of the Montreal Tower), conferences, as well as religious, union or other rallies.
As the Olympic Park offers several spectacular settings, it has become a favourite and popular shooting location for films, television shows, etc
Once you have decided to hold an event at the Olympic Stadium, the Sports Centre or the Montréal Tower, the Marketing, Sales and Tourism division assigns your file to a project manager who will assist you in the planning process. This person will be the liaison between you and the various Olympic Park resource people in charge of production, logistics, installation, dismantling, and security.
Regardless of the size of your event, the Olympic Park provides you with as much personnel as you need to properly host your participants, audience or guests. For major events, the management team in charge of logistics works very closely with the various authorities, including the police and public transit organization. The Olympic Park has recognized expertise in logistics and crowd management.
The Olympic Park is located in the middle of an extremely popular tourist area in East Montreal. Bordered by Viau, Sherbrooke, Pierre-De Coubertin and Pie-IX Streets, its neighbours include the lovely Botanical gardens, fascinating Insectarium and the famous Montreal Biodôme.
No more than ten minutes walk away and in a family-friendly environment, visitors can enjoy numerous restaurants with every cuisine from economical poutine to exclusive gourmet meals as well as hundreds of stores, cafes and hotel rooms. For those who wish, the Downtown Montreal core is just a quick ten minutes from the Olympic Park.
