Opening of Stadium doors

For reserved-seating events, the doors of the Stadium open one to two hours prior to the start of the event. Your ticket may indicate when the doors open. Otherwise, please phone 514 252-4141 to obtain information via our voice messaging system.

For trade shows or exhibitions, the doors open at the time announced by the event organizer.

Access for mobility-impaired persons

The Stadium, Montréal Tower and Sports Centre can all be accessed by mobility-impaired persons. The washrooms are also adapted for people in wheelchairs.

Getting here by metro

You can get to the Stadium though an indoor corridor from the Pie-IX metro station (Angrignon / Honoré-Beaugrand green line). The Sports Centre and Montréal Tower are near the Viau metro station (Angrignon / Honoré-Beaugrand green line). These metro stations can serve up to 45,000 people per hour for major events.

Getting here by car

The Olympic Park is located in the quadrangle formed by rue Sherbrooke, rue Viau, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin and boulevard Pie-IX. From downtown Montréal, drive about ten minutes east along rue Sherbrooke and you will automatically arrive at the Olympic Stadium. For further details:

From the Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau Airport (Dorval)

  • Highway 20 Est
  • Highway 720 Est (Ville-Marie expressway)
  • Continue along rue Notre-Dame
  • Turn left onto rue Viau
  • Turn right onto avenue Pierre-De Coubertin

From Québec City

  • Highway 20 Ouest
  • Highway 25 Nord (L.-H.-Lafontaine tunnel)
  • Exit west onto rue Sherbrooke Ouest
  • Turn left onto rue Viau
  • Turn right onto avenue Pierre-De Coubertin

From the Eastern Townships

  • Highway 10 Ouest
  • Cross the Champlain Bridge
  • Take the Centre-ville (downtown) exit (Bonaventure expressway)
  • Exit east onto 720 Est (Ville-Marie expressway)
  • Continue along rue Notre-Dame
  • Turn left onto rue Viau
  • Turn left onto avenue Pierre-De Coubertin

From highway 40

  • Highway 40 toward Montréal

Our parking areas

With some 4,000 indoor parking spaces and 270 outdoor spaces, our parking facilities are among the biggest in Canada.

A Parking lot A-2 serves the Stadium. Its entrance is at 4141, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin. It is open Monday to Friday from 5:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The following parking lots are open for major events only: A-1, located at 4545, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin (corner rue Letourneux) A-3, accessible from boulevard Pie-IX A-4, accessible from rue Sherbrooke
B The Montréal Tower and Sports Centre are accessible from parking lots B-1 and B-2, located at 3200, rue Viau. They are open Monday to Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sightseeing buses and school buses are only permitted to park in parking lot B-1 (3200, rue Viau), which has the necessary overhead clearance.
C Parking lot C, accessible from avenue Pierre-De Coubertin (corner of rue Sicard), is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. This parking lot serves visitors to the Stadium, Sports Centre, Biodome and the StarCité cinema.* *Parking lot B2, located at 3200, rue Viau, between rue Sherbrooke and avenue Pierre-De Coubertin is also available. By presenting your parking stub at StarCité, you will automatically receive a $10 credit (toward the purchase of movie tickets or food). So your parking will actually cost you only $4.
