Experiences

With its bold architectural design, the Olympic Park was built to present the 1976 Summer Games. Since its inception, it has hosted over one hundred million visitors, whether they want to admire Montreal atop the tallest inclined tower in the world, to attend an event presented in the Stadium or to train at the world-class Sports Centre, which has also hosted major national and international competitions.

The grounds of the Olympic Park, including its facilities and those of its thirteen on- site partners, are visited by more than three million people every year. Open to the world and harmonious with its surrounding community of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the Olympic Park aims to become a unique tourism/entertainment attraction that combines creativity, discovery, entertainment and physical activity. To reach this goal, an annual program focused on culture, sport and sustainable development will be presented in the Esplanade Sun Life Financial in the spring of 2012.
